Crathes Castle Crathes Castle, 1997:
Speaking from a completely uninformed perspective, but I'd muster a guess that Crathes Castle isn't known so much for its castle, which is small, boxy and rather uninspiring, but for its absolutely outstanding gardens and hedges. These are truly a sight to see. The hedges lining one of the entrances to the castle must reach at least ten feet in height, and are impressively thick.
