This is just one of many different Inuit sleds, or kamotiqs (pronounced "ka-mo-tik") that dot the landscape in and around Resolute Bay. These versitile sleds are towed behind snowmobiles or by dog-teams, and are often loaded with hunting and fishing supplies, people, or with the results of a trip "out on the land" - numerous fish, seals, and even caribou.
