Note about this image:
This photo depicts local Inuit resident Paul Amagoalik, who was incidentally one of the "founding people" of Resolute Bay, not that he remembers it. He was born on the first ship that was en route on Cornwallis Island to populate a community in hopes of establishing Canadian soverignty over the High Arctic. To this day the Amagoalik family remains strong in numbers in Resolute Bay, and Paul is a respected "expert" on the local area.
